Designing with Stripes

address provided prior to event, some stairs are required

Whether you are weaving tiny coasters, placemats, scarves, or even giant rugs, the width, contrast, and spacing of your stripes will have a big impact. Wide or narrow? How close together? What colors? How dark or light? In this mini-workshop you’ll work with paper strips and yarn wrappings to explore a variety of stripe patterns for your future projects. Paper and cardboard provided.

Participant’s Supplies to Bring:

  • Scissors, ruler/straight edge, glue stick, scotch tape.

  • Yarn in colors you like (several yards of each color).

  • Post card or other image with a color scheme you like (not required).
